Records of the Rochester Institute of Technology's Office of Veteran Affairs with materials dating from 1972-1988. The collection contains a variety of documents including several brochures, a newsletter, a poster, a flyer, forms, and several short articles. The Office of Veteran Affairs records consist of a variety of documents related to the department's activities. The collection contains two different brochures used to inform prospective students of the opportunities afforded to veterans at the Rochester Institute of Technology, as well as an advertising poster containing similar information. There are also several administrative documents, such as forms used to collect data on veterans currently attending the university and a proposed policy on readmission guidelines for veterans wishing to return to the Institute. In addition to a newsletter put out by the Office of Veteran Affairs, the collection contains an article on a reward the department received and a profile written on Gene Clark, the director of Veteran Affairs in 1980. There are also several advertisements for the university clipped from newspapers.
